With the patent pending Freedom Seat™ base, your seating pathway is custom programmed to your specific mobility needs, optimizing every inch in and around the door opening – thus maximizing your feet and leg room while entering and exiting the vehicle. And, in the event your mobility needs change, simply visit your Freedom Sciences mobility dealer for a program adjustment to meet your new requirements. Retaining the OEM/factory seat should always be explored as it preserves the safety and comfort functions initially designed into the seat. Retaining the OEM/factory seat requires a series of client measurements that your Freedom Seat dealer is trained to perform, and if the OEM/factory seat requires adjustments for final fitting, either your local dealer or Freedom Sciences can provide this service. Alternatively, you can choose from one of our premium, aftermarket seats if the OEM/factory seat can not be used in conjunction with the Freedom articulating seat base. Either way, the Freedom Seat’s state-of-the-art articulating base has no equal in providing superior pathway seat performance, safety, and comfort.

The Traveller™ transfer system complements the Freedom Seat™ system by providing a specially designed transfer seating system for those persons who are unable or find it too difficult to transfer from their wheelchair. In essence their wheelchair seat is easily transferred into a passenger seat.

The Freedom Seat™ is a fully articulating seat mechanism that moves forwards and backwards, rotates left and right, and moves outside the vehicle to allow a person to easily enter and exit their vehicle. | Model 2200 |
The Model 2200 is a rotate-and-extend seat for full size sedans and some cross-over vehicles and can be installed on the front passenger side of the vehicle. This Model 2200 is shown in the 2007 Cadillac DTS.

The Model 3100 is for pick-up trucks and some full size SUV's. When activiated, the Freedom Seat smoothly rotates, extends, and ascends or descends into or out-of the vehicle so you are perfectly positioned on the ground or behind the steering wheel. This Model 3100 is shown in a 2007 Ford F-150.
